[visit-users] Volimage plugin

Since the formats only differ in the header, would it be possible to have the reader determine which format it is by looking at the header? This would eliminate the code duplication issue as well as issues with extensions.

The format has a different binary header, otherwise its the same. The extension has also changed. I'm thinking of changing it into a "folder" based plugin, as I will be opening a series of files on folders, although I might just make the user open any file and then search for all the similar files based on patterns.
