[visit-developers] Annotation objects in Python

I noticed that PyLineObject has methods that PyText2DObject does not, namely:
WriteLog
StartUp
CloseDown
GetMethodTable

It also has a notion of 'default' atts.

Does anyone know if these methods are needed/used, and if so, should other annotation objects also have them?

I am working to add the 'useForegroundColor' option to the line object, and was using the Text2D object for comparison, which is how I noticed the differences.

Kathleen
