[visit-developers] odd visit crash on exit

Are sure you are working from a 'clean' build directory?

sometimes, I wind up svn updating, re-cmake'ing and re-building in a dir where a lot has changed and some stray .o files from older builds wind up getting pulled in (via plugins) causing spurious and hard to diagnose errors. Blowing away the build dir and starting afresh corrects those cases.

Subject: [visit-developers] odd visit crash on exit

I recently started seeing a crash with VisIt when I quit the trunk version. I see it both with OSX and Liunx.

It seems to originate with vtk but my vtk is up to date. I am seeing this with my clean versions (where I have not mucked about).

Any thoughts as to what might going on??

Cheers,

Allen
